Job Opportunity: Voice Over Narrators for Audiobooks

We’re hiring 10+ audio/voice-over narrators for 50-100+ audiobooks on platforms like ACX, Amazon, and Audible. Here’s what you need to know:

What You’ll Do

- Narrate audiobooks: We’ll provide the script; your job is to record it.

- Pay: $10–$20 per finished hour (PFH). This means you’ll earn $10–$20 for every 60 minutes of completed audio. Audiobooks typically range on average from 3–5 hours and some up to 6-10 hours.

What We’re Looking For

1. Great Microphone Quality: Your microphone must produce clear audio with no background noise.

2. Excellent Voice & Delivery:

- Your voice should be pleasant, engaging, and easy to listen to.

- You should have a natural talent for storytelling and making the narration enjoyable.

3. Voice Match for Themes: We want voices that fit the topics of our books.

How to Apply

- Send us your best audio sample from past work, using the same microphone you’ll use for our projects. This helps us evaluate your sound quality and voice style.

Important Details

- First Job: $5 Small Project (or possibly go straight to the Audiobook project at ACX where we need audio samples as well):

- We’ll start with a small job (e.g., a 10-minute audio of “Top 10 Tips/Fun Facts”) and a sample reading from one of our books.

- This helps us assess your skills before offering larger audiobook projects.

- If your audition goes well, we may hire you for full-length audiobooks.

- No Guarantees: Multiple narrators are auditioning, so not everyone will move on to bigger projects.
