Folded Dough is a wholesale bakery specializing in laminated pastries, croissants, and Asian-inspired baked goods. We focus on quality, consistency, and efficient production for our coffee shop and other partners.

JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a skilled and dependable baker who is comfortable working independently during early morning or overnight shifts. This role requires strong pastry fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to execute high-quality products consistently.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake croissants, laminated doughs, and other pastries
  • Execute lamination processes (mixing, sheeting, folding, proofing, baking)
  • Decorate and finish croissants and other baked goods
  • Assist with food prep (measuring, mixing, assembling)
  • Package products for wholesale orders and deliveries
  • Support farmers markets and events (either attending or preparing orders)
  • Ensure timely production and delivery readiness
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspace
  • Wash dishes and maintain kitchen sanitation
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements:
  • Pastry or baking experience (professional preferred)
  • Experience with laminated dough (croissants required)
  • Shio pan experience is a plus
  • Strong skills in pastry finishing, decoration, and presentation
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized
  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen or bakery environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and proper handling procedures
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive
  • Valid ServSafe
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Portfolio of baked goods or prior bakery work examples
  • Experience in wholesale, production baking, or high-volume environments
  • Familiarity with Asian-inspired pastries is a plus
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
