Carpenter/Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team in the restoration industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and a passion for restoring and fabricating structures. This role involves working with various materials and tools to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards. The Carpenter/Laborer will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Perform heavy lifting as needed to transport materials and equipment on job sites.
• Execute mold remediation tasks to restore affected areas safely and effectively.
• Fabricate and install structures, including siding, framing, and concrete forming.
• Assist in construction estimating by providing input on material needs and project timelines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a carpenter or laborer in the construction or restoration industry.
• Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by job tasks.
• Knowledge of mold remediation processes is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with concrete forming techniques is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
