Community Nurse – Immunisation, Vaccination & Injections - Primary Care

We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.<br><br><strong>The shift pattern for this post is:</strong> Monday - Sunday, 08:30 - 16:30.<br><br><strong>You need to have a live NMC UK pin in order to be considered for this post.<br><br></strong>Glasgow City HSCP is growing its capacity to deliver on the transfer of some care and treatments to more appropriate services away from general practice. This Includes the Vaccination Programme which is coordinated at a NHSGGC board level with the HSCP overseeing implementation. The Immunisation and injections team will work in collaboration with Public Health and general practice colleagues and other agencies to address Health Inequalities As part of the immunisation, vaccination and injection team, the post holder will provide an accessible, appropriate, culturally sensitive, safe, person centred and effective service for Adults, children and young people in the community; working in partnership with Patients, children, young people and families, care providers and other agencies, including General Practice, Primary Care, Education and Public Health.<br><br>The post holder will be a first level NMC Registered Nurse who will support Team lead and wider team to provide a safe, person centred and effective quality service.<br><br>The post holder should show evidence of continuing professional development, including immunisation.
