Convert Hand-Lettered Alphabet into OTF/TTF + Webfont

Other Jobs To Apply

No other job posts for this day.

I have created a complete hand-lettered alphabet (A–Z uppercase, a–z lowercase, numbers, punctuation, and a few ligatures/doodles). I’m looking for an experienced font designer / type engineer who can convert my artwork into a professional, fully functioning font.

Clear communication and reasonable turnaround time is a must. Provide a proof build for testing and allow 1–2 rounds of revisions.

*This work is work-for-hire, I retain 100% copyright/IP.*

Requirements:

-Proven experience in type design (please share portfolio samples).

-Knowledge of kerning/spacing best practices.

Scope of Work:

-Vectorize my provided hand-lettered artwork (clean scans will be supplied).

-Import into professional font software (Glyphs, FontLab, or similar).

-Apply proper kerning, spacing, and metrics for natural text flow.

-Add a small set of ligatures and doodles.

-Export final font files: OTF + TTF, WOFF + WOFF2

Deliverables:

1. Desktop font files (OTF, TTF)

2. Webfont files (WOFF, WOFF2)

3. Proof PDF with sample pangrams (e.g., “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog”)

To Apply:

Please reply with:

-Portfolio samples of fonts you’ve built.

-Your proposed timeline.

-Your budget range.
