About the position

Responsibilities

• Install all Windows, hardware, and software updates on Windows-based desktop, laptop, and tablet computers to ensure compliance.
• Install all macOS updates on Apple desktop and laptop computers to ensure compliance.
• Install all iOS/iPadOS updates on Apple mobile phones and tablet computers to ensure compliance.
• Install all OS and security updates on Android mobile phones and tablet computers to ensure compliance.
• Implement the required hostname naming convention and Microsoft Defender tags on desktop, laptop, and tablet computers.
• Implement the required hostname naming convention and Microsoft Defender tags on mobile phones.
• Remove ESET (antivirus) and enable Microsoft Defender on desktop, laptop, and tablet computers.
• Install Microsoft Defender on mobile phones.
• Enroll desktop, laptop, and tablet computers into Microsoft Intune for compliance.
• Enroll mobile phones into Microsoft Intune for compliance.
• Perform vulnerability remediation on desktop, laptop, and tablet computers to ensure compliance.
• Work with leadership to identify and implement cloud-only and hybrid environments for supported agencies.
• Rebuild desktop, laptop, and tablet computers for cloud-only environments in collaboration with agencies.
• Migrate data from on-premises servers to OneDrive cloud storage with stakeholders' assistance.
• Reconfigure equipment at the Offices of the Governor and Lieutenant Governor for new administrations, pending election results.
• Set up multifactor authentication (MFA) utilizing the Microsoft Authenticator app or a hardware-based security token for users.
• Perform other duties and work as assigned.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Windows operating systems and familiarity with Windows 10 21H2.
• Experience with macOS, specifically macOS Monterey 12.6.
• Knowledge of iOS and iPadOS, particularly iOS 16.0.3 and iPadOS 15.7.
• Familiarity with Android operating systems and security updates.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender and ESET antivirus software.
• Ability to implement hostname naming conventions and security tags.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune for device management.
• Knowledge of cloud environments and data migration processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams and users.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a government or public sector IT environment.
• Familiarity with multifactor authentication setups and security protocols.
• Knowledge of data migration strategies and cloud storage solutions.
