Drivers with CARGO Vans Needed for Amazon Delivery in Gatineau

Ship X Couriers Inc. is seeking self-employed delivery drivers to join our team and deliver packages in GATINEAU. The warehouse is located in Stittsville. We are looking for new team players that can learn fast and work efficiently.

Job description

• You are required to inspect, scan, and load your route into your vehicle in a timely manner.
• Also, deliver the packages to customers as per company's standards within a set time limit.
• Daily work hours depend on multiple factors including size of route, area, and weather conditions.
• Complete any pickups throughout your work area as assigned.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license (Full G preferred but G2 license is accepted as well), enough driving experience, and good driving record (without major tickets).
• Vehicle insurance and registration
• A smartphone with a sufficient and reliable data plan
• **This position requires that you deliver in your own vehicle**
• Having access to a reliable CARGO VAN. To be able to get your vehicle qualified for this job, IT MUST BE
• Color: white, black, or gray, navy blue
• Year: 2014 and up preferred, but OLDER models are welcomed if they are in good condition and reliable to be used for deliveries.
• Bonus: a certain percentage of weekly earnings will be paid as a gas bonus.

Abilities

• Must be punctual and responsible.
• Must be able to handle packages that are 40 lbs. and above.
• Must be able to complete a route with stops each day of work (approximately packages).
• Must be comfortable with working in all weather conditions (e.g. rainy, sunny etc.)
• Delivery experience is another MAJOR ASSET, but not required.
• All Criminal background checks are paid for by the company.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Additional details to consider:

• This position is an independent contractor position so you will be self-employed.
• We pay weekly and your weekly payout depends on the number of parcels you deliver each week.
• Drivers' schedules are made weekly based on their availability.
