Job Opportunity with State of Hawaii

The State of Hawaii is offering a job opportunity with a monthly salary of $6,079.00. The position is located on the Island of Oahu and is categorized as various job types. The job requires shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. To qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements :

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • A valid State of Hawaii Electrician License, Journey Worker Electrician License, Journey Worker Industrial Electrician License, Supervising Electrician License, or Supervising Industrial Electrician License is required.
  • Some positions require possession of a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
  • Some positions require possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B, no restrictions relating to code L (air brakes) within 6 months from the date of hire.
  • A valid out-of-state CDL may also be accepted. If you are selected for this position, you must transfer your out-of-state CDL to a Hawaii-issued CDL prior to your employment start date and within 30 days of arriving in Hawaii.
  • Some positions may require lifting and carrying objects of varying weights.
  • In accordance with Federal regulations, persons who are being considered for employment in positions which require unescorted access to secured areas at the airport, must undergo a pre-employment fingerprint-based criminal history record check.
