Role Description

We are seeking a results-oriented, technically-savvy Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead sales efforts across the Central U.S.—including Texas, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, and others. This individual will be instrumental in driving revenue, expanding key accounts, and delivering high-reliability interconnect solutions across military/defense and commercial markets.

  • Drive regional sales growth by developing and executing business plans tailored to strategic customers in military, defense, aerospace, and commercial sectors.
  • Build and nurture strong customer relationships—especially with design engineers, procurement leaders, and key decision-makers—to win new programs and design-ins.
  • Actively manage and grow a regional sales pipeline using CRM tools, forecasting models, and data-driven territory planning.
  • Partner closely with manufacturer’s rep firms and distribution channels to execute sales strategy, monitor rep performance, and support joint account visits.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and product management teams to deliver customer-driven solutions and communicate market needs for new product development.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, providing feedback to marketing, engineering, and operations on emerging trends and competitor positioning.
  • Prepare and present monthly sales forecasts and contribute to multi-year strategic sales planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–10 years of experience in technical sales within the electronic components, interconnect, RF/Microwave industry; background in military/defense and or commercial electronics strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success growing a territory, capturing design wins, and managing key customer relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and tools for sales analytics and presentations.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
  • Ability to travel frequently throughout the Western U.S., with regular on-site presence at our Cerritos facility.

Requirements

  • Approximately 50% of travel is expected.
