About the position

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal TA to develop National Expert Engagement plans and manage National Expert relationships.
• Develop strategy and execution plan for relevant National and/or Regional Accounts and Networks, including Advocacy Groups.
• Partner with Business Development and Venture Capital to explore new disease state areas or potential assets.
• Identify and build medical relationships with experts and understand the latest scientific advances.
• Strategic and tactical medical execution for National and Regional US conventions.
• Create and implement medical plans regarding scientific information capture and dissemination for medical congresses.
• Provide field-medical teams with relevant clinical trial materials and training on pipeline molecules.
• Assist with the release of trial data to investigators and coordinate with OEC/Reg for appropriate field delivery of material.
• Create innovative approaches and ideas valued by external customers and within the function.
• Present scientific concepts and clinical information effectively to all levels of management.

Requirements

• Advanced medical or scientific degree required; Doctorate strongly preferred in a health science or clinical discipline.
• Greater than or equal to 5 years' experience in pharmaceutical field-based roles and industry experience.
• Previous experience as an MSL at AbbVie is required.
• Demonstrated leadership success in relevant therapeutic areas.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and administrative skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and translate problems into business opportunities.
