**Rotation/Shifts**
Days, 8 hour shifts.

**Basic Requirements**
- Certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario;
- Three (3) months experience in nephrology setting;
- Certificate in Nephrology Nursing;
- Demonstrates ability, skills and knowledge in completing patient assessments and in implementing nursing actions to answer patient care needs;
- Demonstrates skill, ability and knowledge of nursing practice related to general nephrology, renal transplantation, chronic and end-stage renal disease;
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional education and willingness to actively participate in departmental education activities;
- Demonstrates an ability to provide patient teaching and has knowledge of the educational needs of nephrology and renal transplantation patients;
- Commitment and demonstrated skills in continuing quality improvement approaches to care delivery;
- Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a collaborative multidisciplinary approach to patient care;
- Demonstrates positive productive interpersonal skills and collaborative team approaches;
- Demonstrates initiative, interest and ability to participate actively in research studies;
- Eligible to work in Canada.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- A degree in Nursing.
- Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
