US Citizen with active Top Secret security clearance and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
Bachelors Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance (IA), or a related IT discipline, or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information assurance, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Must meet DoD Approved 8570 certification requirements for IAT-III.
Preferred experience or certification in Zero Trust policies.
Proficient in risk assessment tools and methods, including eMASS.
Familiarity with vulnerability management tools, such as HBSS and ACAS (Nessus).
Experience in designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
Competence in developing security policies, standards, and procedures.
Strong communication skills for articulating network security concerns to peers and clients.
Proficient in Microsoft software applications and other necessary tools, including Microsoft SharePoint.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and test cybersecurity solutions compliant with DoD and NSA standards.
Analyze complex security challenges and create effective solutions to maintain cybersecurity standards and minimize cyber risks.
Evaluate new cybersecurity policies and technologies, providing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and security posture.
Act as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity accreditation strategies and compliance frameworks.
Manage the RMF program, including the creation and upkeep of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) documentation.
Conduct Security Control Assessment (SCA) reporting, including networking inspections and risk assessments.
Prepare risk assessment reports, RMF scorecards, and certification testing documentation.
Develop and lead Test and Evaluation briefings, sharing findings with system owners.
Communicate security concepts and recommendations clearly and effectively.
Actively engage in strategic discussions regarding cybersecurity standards and practices.
Mentor junior cybersecurity staff and oversee cybersecurity teams.
