A nonprofit 501(c)(3), the ACR has over 500 purpose-driven employees.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><em>If you share our core values of:<br></em><strong><em>*Integrity *Visionary *Excellence *Leadership *Transparency *Member-Driven<br></em></strong><em>we want you on our team!</em></p> <p style="text-align: center;"> </p> <p><span style="color: #000000;">As a member of the Meetings and Registration Team, the <strong>Meetings Manager</strong> participates in soup-to-nuts planning for multiple meetings per year.  Organization, detail-oriented and coordination skills are critical to your success when it comes to the logistics and educational components for planning face-to-face, virtual, and hybrid meetings.  We seek someone who can be comfortable in leading a team when it comes to making decisions and providing direction at all levels of the project.  Lastly, the right candidate will be able to exercise their analytical skills when interpreting and evaluating available data post-meeting.</span></p> <p><strong><span style="color: #000000;">Duties:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Coordinates and manages meeting and tradeshow logistics</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Execution of face-to-face and online meetings</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">On-site meeting management, collaborate with outside vendors, and hotel staff to facilitate effective teamwork</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Manage the end  to end abstract and ePoster submission process for annual meeting </span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Oversees RFP, site selection and contract negotiation process</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Manage housing process by working directly with the hotel(s) to create master room list, monitor pick up reports, pace reports and rooming lists</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Maintain budget awareness and execute within set parameters</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Delivers phone-based customer support while contributing to the team that managed the call queue</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #000000;"> </span><strong><span style="color: #000000;">Requirements:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Bachelor’s degree and/or CMP designation preferred</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">3+ years of experience in a meeting planning role</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Past medical association experience and an understanding of ACCME Policies and Procedures, preferred</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Adept at understanding various online virtual event platforms (ie., Zoom)</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">In-depth knowledge of meeting planning principles and practices</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Collaborative and team-oriented required</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Attention to detail, and strong multi-tasking skills with a comfort in maintaining multiple projects</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Some travel required</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #000000;"> </span></p> <p><span>*******************************************************************<br></span><em>While working a Remote schedule, qualified candidates must be able to maintain a schedule of working within ACR's operating hours of 8:30A - 5:00P (EST). </em><em>When working remotely, workers must be self-motivated, possess excellent time management, and be highly organized.  Reliable internet connection is a must!</em><span> </span><span> </span><span> </span><span style="color: #000000;"> </span></p> <p style="text-align: left;"><span>*******************************************************************</span><span> </span><span> </span><span style="color: #000000;"> </span></p> <p style="text-align: left;"><span>ACR is committed to a total rewards compensation philosophy that includes base salary in addition to our full suite of comprehensive benefits.  ACR’s goal is to pay competitively and equitably.  It is typical for individuals to be hired in the entry to middle of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on each case’s circumstances.  A reasonable estimate of the annual compensation range for this position is $65,250 - $81,575.  </span><span> </span><span style="color: #000000;"> </span></p> <p style="text-align: left;"><span>*******************************************************************</span><span> </span><span> </span><span> </span><span style="color: #000000;"> </span></p> <p style="text-align: left;">If you would like to put your experience to great use in a professional team-oriented environment, please apply online.
