SUMMARY:
Phone Screener is responsible for conducting initial phone interviews with job applicants to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit before advancing candidates to the next stage of the hiring process. This role ensures a positive candidate experience and supports the recruitment team in maintaining an efficient and effective hiring pipeline. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions):
- Make outbound calls to applicants and conduct structured phone screenings based on predefined criteria.
- Verify candidate information, including work history, skills, and availability.
- Assess communication skills and overall suitability for the role.
- Document screening results accurately in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other tracking tools.
- Provide candidates with information about the position and next steps in the hiring process.
- Collaborate with recruiters to prioritize candidates.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment regulations.
