Join a world-renowned team and be part of a courageous future in cancer care and research.<br></p> <strong>Role Description<br></strong> <p>This is a full-time, on-site role for an Advanced Endoscopy and/or General Gastroenterologist at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. The role involves providing exceptional clinical care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions, performing advanced endoscopic procedures, guiding treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, engaging in education and mentorship for fellows and residents, and contributing to clinical research initiatives. The Gastroenterologist will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care and advancing Moffitt’s mission of improving cancer outcomes.<br></p> <strong>Qualifications<br></strong> <ul><li>Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology, with advanced training in endoscopy preferred</li><li>Expertise in performing advanced endoscopic procedures, including but not limited to ERCP, EUS, and therapeutic endoscopy</li><li>Strong clinical knowledge in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal disorders, particularly in cancer care</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment</li><li>Commitment to education and mentorship for medical students, residents, and fellows</li><li>Demonstrated involvement or interest in clinical research is highly desirable</li><li>Medical Degree (MD or DO) and an active medical license or eligibility for licensure in Florida</li><li>Dedication to Moffitt’s mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer</li></ul>
