Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Research and develop new skincare formulations, including creams, lotions, serums, and other cosmetic products.
Conduct stability, efficacy, and safety testing on formulations to ensure product performance.
Optimize production processes to enhance product quality, consistency, and efficiency.
Evaluate raw materials and active ingredients for suitability and compliance with industry regulations.
Ensure all skincare products meet regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EU Cosmetics Regulation, ISO standards).
Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to refine formulations based on consumer trends.
Troubleshoot formulation or production issues and implement effective solutions. Maintain documentation, including formulation records, safety data sheets, and test reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in skincare or cosmetic product formulation.
Strong knowledge of raw materials, active ingredients, and preservatives used in skincare.
Familiarity with regulatory standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and testing methods.
Problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
